## Put the written quality standard into every production stage

**Inspection principle:**  A granite project order should be inspected against the approved sample, fabrication drawings, dimensional tolerances, surface finish, accepted colour range and written acceptance criteria. Control points run from block selection and measurement through finish approval, dry lay, final inspection and reinforced packing.

Confirm source, base colour, grain and production batch.

Check thickness, length, width and diagonal tolerance against drawings.

Compare flamed, bush-hammered, honed or polished surfaces with the approved sample.
